Mark Barrell was appointed as the Executive Director of the LCF in June 2010. A solicitor with 12 years' experience, working mainly with family law, Mark has also served with BMS World Mission in Kampala from 2001 to 2006. He lives in Suffolk and is an elder in his local church in Bury St Edmunds .
Students and Young Lawyers
Adam joined as the LCF's Deputy Director in July 2015 and oversees the Young Lawyer and Student ministries. Prior to joining the LCF, Adam practised as an employment solicitor with Slaughter and May and Joelson Wilson LLP. As well as his role seeking to grow the next generation of Christian lawyers, Adam has a strong interest in the LCF's international work having served with our CLEAR partners in Rwanda. He attends Euston Church in central London.
Fiona Mahendran is our Student Coordinator. Fiona has, in the last seven years, completed her LPC and worked in house in the oil and gas industry. Involved in her local Baptist Church in Surrey she has a passion for Jesus and is eager to work with law students and see them being a witness to the gospel.
International Projects Coordinator
Mhairi was appointed in March 2013. Her main priority is liaising with our partners in East Africa and other Fellowships worldwide, and supporting these vital ministries. She has experience and understanding of international work as is commited to seeing this integrated into the whole vision and mission of the LCF.
Sarah joined in May 2016 as Assistant Administrator, looking after our members, helping the office run smoothly and taking time-consuming admin jobs off the others' hands. Prior to her role at the LCF she worked with UCCF alongside the students at Kingston University Christian Union in southwest London, and before that with a Christian Union in Melbourne, in her native Australia.
