LCF Scotland Half Day Conference
'Law and faith - is there an inevitable clash?'
With contributions from Rev. Dr. Scott Kirkland, Professor John Gibson from Glasgow University and LCF Executive Director Mark Barrell this will be a great opportunity for us to encourage one another as we discuss some vital issues that face our faith and the legal profession.
We enjoy a lot of freedom, and we live in an age when rights are being heralded more than ever. Yet those who profess a faith in Christ, or say that they hold to Biblical values are often disparaged at best and potentially seen as the ones to be silenced. This can lead to despair or withdrawal from speaking about our faith.
But is this really an option and is it really true? The culture may seem to be against us but the truth is God is in control. As Christians in the legal world how do we address these challenges?
We will spend time looking at these issues together. There will be opportunities for discussion as well as having some great input from our speakers.
