The LCF organises a number of conferences throughout the year including an annual student and junior lawyer conference. This weekend away provides an exceptional opportunity to meet and network with other Christians in law at varying stages of their careers. Come along and get involved!
Read a review of our recent Student and Junior Lawyers' Conference 2016 below:
I had a really fantastic time on the conference. I came away from it feeling spiritually refreshed, after some really heart-warming teaching by Ralph Cunnington which really challenged me on God's heart for justice, and how that's ultimately seen at the Cross. it was also a great encouragement to connect with brothers and sisters in Christ at a similar stage, and share our experiences of life as a young lawyer.
How inspiring and encouraging it was to be gathered with young, dedicated followers of Christ and to be further equipped for life and ministry as a Christian lawyer by Ralph's clear, penetrating Bible teaching.
I was so encouraged by the SYL conference. The teaching was fantastic, challenging and equipping. I loved meeting old friends and SYLs from all over the country and was so encouraged by what was going on in their workplaces, studies and lives. The conference centre was great. The conference is such a highlight of the SYL year - a must for all SYLs.
The Young Lawyer & Student Conference was an excellent opportunity to meet lawyers/law students who didn't just happen to be Christian but rather Christians who just happen to also be lawyers/law students! It was great to come together, united in Christ, to then thoroughly consider the implications of a Christ-centred worldview in how we study law and seek to practice in law.
I would whole-heartedly recommend the conference for its engaging Bible and Christ-centred content, its practice area specific seminars and the great opportunity to share challenges and encouragements from being a Christian in law school, in a solicitors firm or in chambers.

For a lawyer who loves God and wants to grow and be challenged in their vocation, I can think of no better place to be than the LCF conference!"
