"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."
1 Thessalonians 5: 6-18 (ESV)
The Lawyers' Christian Fellowship was formed in 1852 as the Lawyers' Prayer Union. We have much to give thanks to God for and we know that prayer is powerful and effective - and we are urged to pray continually. Join with us in prayer.
There are a number of monthly LCF prayer meetings which happen either nationally or regionally throughout the UK and we encourage you to join in. If there is no prayer meeting in your firm, chambers, town or city and you would like to organise one (be it weekly, monthly or any other time) then please do let us know and we can help you to do so. Click below to show regions, and to email local organisers for details.
We start each working day as staff praying about the minstry of the LCF, our members and our partners. If members would like us to pray for a particular situation, please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or click the button below. We also have a daily PrayerMate feed for you to partner with us in praying for our ministry and will add your anonymised prayer request to it, if appropriate. In addition we include prayer points at the end of each "word for the week" emails. We encourage you to use these as you pray for yourself, your colleagues and the LCF.
There is a monthly prayer meeting for our international partners and a quarterly multi-lingual prayer call (see the events page for dates). If you would like to pray for our international partners specifically or would like to find out more information on how to join the calls, then please contact Jane in the International Team at email@example.com.
