Having initially qualified as a solicitor, Sir Jeremy was called to the Bar in 1976, took Silk in 1990 and sat as a High Court Judge from 2001 to 2016, sitting mainly in the Commercial Court, as well as presiding over a number of high profile criminal matters. Since May 2016 he has been an arbitrator and mediator with 7 KBW chambers.
