This is the second of our bite-sized "Essential Truths" videos - exploring the key biblical principles that every Christian lawyer needs to know.

What should my ministry priorities be as a Christian lawyer? Do I have to choose between justice and evangelism?

How much time should we be devoting to using our legal skills to help the vulnerable? Or is the urgent priority to share the good news of the gospel with our colleagues and classmates?

With only a limited amount of time to go round, it can be difficult to know how best we can serve Jesus and tell people about him as Christian lawyers.

In this short video, His Hon Judge David Turner QC encourages us from the Bible that we can live integrated lives in which we can practically love our neighbours whilst at the same time making it our intention to share the truth of the gospel with those around us.

If you would like to discuss these issues in a group then a hand-out with discussion questions and further resources is available here

David Turner is a circuit judge dividing his time between the Crown Court at Chelmsford and the Royal Courts of Justice in London, where he sits as a deputy high court judge.
