"Pray without ceasing."1 Thessalonians 5:17 (ESV)
Even the seemingly unimportant matters
Formal prayer times are important, but praying all the time seems like an impossible task.
As we go about our daily work and other activities, we are usually thinking to ourselves, often about seemingly unimportant things. We can share these thoughts, and all our experiences and challenges, with the Lord. He is interested in every detail of our lives, both great and small. No other person is, or can be (the phenomenon of conversations being steered "back to me" may be something we are all familiar with).
As we talk to our heavenly Father about our lives, our relationship with him will strengthen and he can give us insight and wisdom (at times unexpected) for the work He has given us.
1. Let us bring all our lives before Him.
2. May His truth guide us and His mercy sustain us in all things.
