The SYL Conference is a unique annual conference for students and young lawyers (SYL), connecting the Christian faith with law, building Christian friendships within the legal world, and preparing delegates for living and working with Christ-centred purpose. This weekend away provides an exceptional opportunity to meet and network with other Christians in law at varying stages of their careers. Come along and get involved!

Student & Young Lawyer Conference 2023

  SYL Conference 2023

Paul warns us that the "world system" - the manner of thinking and acting that is in rebellion against God - will try to conform us to its ungodly pattern, and that process must be resisted. What are the patterns of this world, present in our legal culture, that we should resist? And what does this non-conformity look like for lawyers?

Join us for a weekend of teaching, fellowship and fun at the beautiful Frontier Centre in Northamptonshire. Bookings will open in October 2022 and we look forward to receiving you.

If you are interested, be the first to know when registrations open by sending an email to felipe.carvalho@lawcf.org.

Aside from teaching, the fellowship is the part of the weekend delegates appreciate the most. They love the opportunity just to take time to chat and build friendships. They also enjoy the chance to feed into the future of the LCF strategy, worshipping together and, of course, the evening fun!

But don't take our word for it...

"This was my first time attending SYL Conference and I had the best time! It was great to meet others who were at the same stage as you, and to take time to seek God on the topic of wisdom and justice. Dom Hughes spoke incredible messages and I am looking forward to taking away all that I have learnt into my day-to-day studies."

"I really had a fulfilling and wholesome time this weekend. Thank you and the team for everything you did for us. I felt so welcomed and really enjoyed making connections."

"Can I just say how valuable and enjoyable I found the weekend. I was worried about the weekend as I knew nobody but I felt so soaked in God's presence, around like minded people that I didn't even notice my anxieties."
